My life has two sides that actually help each other: corporate professionalism and comedy. By profession, I work as a Query Manager at Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited. By passion—and honestly by identity—I’m a stand-up comedian and content creator who loves turning real Bangladeshi life into punchlines. I talk about the things we all experience but rarely say out loud: office pressure, family expectations, social awkwardness, relationships, daily Dhaka chaos, and all those small moments that feel normal—until you realize they’re hilarious.
What people usually connect with in my comedy is that it feels familiar. I don’t try to be someone else on stage. I bring my real voice, my real observations, and a storytelling style that’s easy to follow and fun to experience. Sometimes it’s a full story that builds and hits with a strong punchline. Sometimes it’s quick one-liners that keep the energy moving. Either way, my goal is simple: when I’m on stage, people should forget stress for a while and laugh freely.
Because I’m part of the corporate world myself, I understand what professional audiences need. Corporate shows are not like open mic nights. In a company event, you have mixed audiences—senior leaders, teams, clients, guests—and the content has to be funny, clean, and respectful, without becoming boring. That balance is something I’ve learned through experience, and it’s one of the reasons brands and organizations trust me. I know how to keep things safe, inclusive, and still genuinely entertaining. I read the room fast, I keep the tone right, and I make sure everyone feels comfortable while still enjoying strong comedy.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and around some major brands, which has been a big part of my journey and growth. I’ve worked with OPPO, BSRM, bKash, Sprite, and Mortein. These collaborations taught me that comedy and content are not just about being funny—they’re about being consistent, professional, and delivering the right message for the right audience. Brand work also pushed me to become more disciplined with timing, structure, and presentation.
Live shows are where I feel most alive. I’ve performed corporate comedy shows for a wide range of organizations, and every event has helped me sharpen my craft. My corporate show experience includes performances for Berger Paints, Nestlé, MGI Group, Global Village BD Limited, Ahsan Group, Beximco Limited, Royal Enfield, Dabur Bangladesh, OPPO Mobile, WAS Logistics, and EMS Apparels.
One of the most special highlights of my corporate journey was performing for VFGB in Malaysia. It wasn’t just another show—it was an international stage, a new environment, and a different kind of audience. Taking comedy outside Bangladesh taught me a lot about adaptability and confidence. It proved to me that if the storytelling is honest and the timing is right, laughter doesn’t need borders. That VFGB Malaysia show remains a proud moment for me and a reminder that my work can travel further than I imagined.
My comedy journey started from the ground level, where every comedian learns the real rules of the stage—practice, failure, improvement, and consistency. I began with NCC and Standup Dhaka, building stage time and learning how to write material that works with real audiences. Those early days shaped me the most, because that’s where you learn to handle silence, earn laughter, and come back stronger after a tough set. You don’t grow by only having good nights—you grow by surviving the hard nights and still showing up.
One of my biggest milestones was becoming a participant in the NTV Ha Show, where I achieved 2nd runner-up. That platform was a turning point for me. Competition comedy is different: it’s pressure, it’s timing, it’s judgement, and it’s performing when the stakes feel high. Finishing as 2nd runner-up gave me confidence that my material and performance style could connect with a wider audience, not just one type of crowd.
Another proud moment in my journey was being presented as a best comedian in “Marvel of Tomorrow.” Recognition like that matters because it’s not just a trophy moment—it’s proof that the work is visible. It pushed me to take my craft more seriously and keep leveling up.
Today, I’m focused on growth: more shows, more collaborations, more content, and bigger stages. I want my comedy to represent a modern Bangladeshi voice—smart, relatable, and audience-first. Whether you’re seeing me live at a corporate event or watching a short clip online, I want you to feel one thing at the end: you laughed, you relaxed, and your day got better.
That’s me—Md. Mahedi Hasan. Query Manager by profession, comedian by passion, and performer by heart. And my mission stays the same every time I hold the mic: make people laugh, one punchline at a time.
